Personal Thoughts:
I got this for Christmas in 2023 and I have soooo many books on my #TBR that I never got around to reading it. Last year I picked it up and I just couldn't get into it because the words, names and places were spelled in a foreign phonetics that I'm not used to. I was too focused on how things were pronounced to comprehend what was going on.
I picked it up again in March 2025 and I'm enjoying the story and the setting. I guess it goes to show that sometimes you just aren't in the right mood or time in your life to enjoy a certain book. A good case for giving your #DNF s a second chance!
