Digital Garden Explained

🌳What is a digital garden?

This is not your average website. The intention isn't to just share facts and information, but to inspire thought and development of new ideas! [1]

Imagine a garden. Imagine each idea is a seed. Every seed needs to be nurtured to develop into a seedling. Imagine the pages on this website as sprouts. The pages will change as ideas are developed and new ideas form, and as they grow, they continue produce offshoots and more ideas (seeds and seedlings). Depending on the type of soil, sunlight, water, and environment, some may die, and some may thrive. Some ideas may fully develop into mature ideas, which will be the plants and trees that become evergreen. 🌲 These evergreen ideas will move to be shared and published in some way, whether it be as an editorial or article on this site or a YouTube video, to be enjoyed and cherished for all time.

Cultivate and Prune

I'm hoping to use this space to cultivate my thinking, get better in my writing, and eventually have a large garden (body of work) that I can share and nourish others' minds with. Gardens require time, and resources. If there are droughts (maybe when I have no time or energy) or if some ideas just don't get much attention or generate spark, some pages may be pruned or archived. Don't be alarmed if some pages are not here after some time. There is a season for everything! That's the nature of a digital garden In the end, I hope to be proud of My Digigarden, and perhaps I can use look back and reflect on all the ideas that grew to create a beautiful map of my mind. πŸͺ»

I hope you enjoy watching the my digital garden grow!
